I’ve put ‘petition packs’ into the Pitt Street Diner, Purple Goana (Redfern Street), Coffee & Crepes (Regent Street), Tapeo (Cnr Redfern and Charlmers Streets) and the convenience store on the corner of Redfern and George Streets. All the owners were all very keen to get behind the campaign.

All I did was print out the “Home” page, “What’s On” page, the “About Us” page and 10 petition pages and put them in one of those great OfficeWorks $2 clear plastic clip boards. Rocked up with the ‘petition pack’ and spoke with the owner. Each one had their Redfern Station story and were more than willing to be involved.

It’s easy, try it with your ‘locals’.
